This workshop will cover the importance of attachment in a child’s life and how successfully attaching impacts the experience of separation. It will cover how grief impacts the feelings and behaviors of children, the birth family, and the foster/adoptive family. It will give guidelines as to how caregivers can support the child in successfully completing the grieving cycle while remaining in care.
