DESCRIPTION:Pre-placement training is required for those who plan to become
  licensed foster/adoptive parents. Each session is held in a fun and relax
 ed atmosphere. The sessions are designed to help you make an informed deci
 sion about whether fostering and/or adopting is right for you.\n\nThis cou
 rse\, part of the Preservice training series\, helps learners understand h
 ow children come into care and are matched with a family. Laws influencing
  matching decisions are discussed\, including MEPA\, ICWA\, and Title VI. 
 Learners will understand the importance of making an informed decision abo
 ut the placement and how to create an environment in which the child feels
