In this workshop, participants will learn and understand the barriers youth face in being prepared for adulthood during the emancipation process. Participants will learn and practice skills related to engaging with transitional aged youth and gain a knowledge of community resources that support transitional aged and emancipated youth.

This course will also review core skills for independent living including: securing and maintaining residence,  organization, grocery shopping/food preparation, personal care and hygiene.

Location: **This class is a webinar that is attended remotely. Access to a telephone and/or a computer with access to the internet, a webcam and microphone, are required to participate in this class. For your safety, if you are driving during a training, we will disconnect you. You can rejoin the training once you reach your destination. **
