Our board of directors is made up of five to nine volunteers from diverse fields who use their backgrounds and strengths to guide our company. Each board member shares the values and mission of Focus on Youth and works behind the scenes to ensure we uphold strong ethics and good business practices.
William Davis

Will Davis is a CPA and a licensed attorney with over 25 years of experience including experience as general counsel, contract negotiation, civil litigation, mergers and acquisitions, employment issues, compliance, and strategic planning.
Debra Meyer

Debra Meyer has extensive experience in developing an organization’s Human Resources strategy to align with business strategy and develop/implement programs, project, policies and practices to support company mission and objectives. Deb enjoys community mentoring and involvement with youth and family services
April Johnson

April Johnson is a licensed foster parent with another local, private agency. She is employed as a fraud investigator and has 18 plus years of banking experience including, leadership, default reporting, sales, operations and procedure training, risk management, quality control, and fraud prevention/mitigation.
Steve Connell

Steve Connell was previously licensed as a foster parent with Focus on Youth from 2005 – 2011. Steve is recently retired after over 32 years in service management within the industrial gas sector. He also holds a degree in Communications and Journalism and has served for over two decades in the leadership of his church.
Terrez Thomas

Terrez Thomas is an elementary school principal and an adjunct professor at Xavier University. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he is a devoted husband and father of five children – three of whom who were adopted with support from Focus on Youth.
Bryan Forney

Bryan Forney currently serves as the Lead Pastor of CrossView Christian Church in Waynesville, Ohio, and as an adjunct instructor in Social Work for Cedarville University. Bryan is the former CEO and Executive Director of Focus on Youth, serving in that capacity from 2015-2021. He was employed with Focus on Youth from 2001 – 2021.
Clint Morton

Clint is Chief Lending Officer and Senior Vice President with Farmers & Merchants Bank headquartered in Miamisburg Ohio. Clint has worked for F&M Bank since 2008 and received his MBA from the University of Dayton in 2006. Clint enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, serving on non-profit boards and tending his perennial gardens.
