Just as it is important for Caregivers to be equipped to meet the needs of children in foster care, it is equally important for professionals to develop skills. Focus on Youth is committed to collaborating and serving our community by providing education that helps professionals learn research and evidence based practice. TBRI® Caregiver Training 2024

TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. This four part series, hosted on Mondays in June, will be held at KEMBA in West Chester on 6/3, 6/10, 6/17, and 6/24. You do not have to attend all four days, however, if you plan on attending Correcting Principles, you need to have attended at least one of the other sessions.
