Pre-placement training is required for those who plan to become licensed foster/adoptive parents. Each session is held in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The sessions are designed to help you make an informed decision about whether fostering and/or adopting is right for you.
This course, part of the Preservice training series, explores what happens during adolescence, including brain development, identity development, and life skills development. Learners will consider how they can support adolescents through this period of development.
