Participants will be able to identify and define child abuse, indicators, and the dynamics of its behaviors. Through discussion and breakouts, caregivers and professionals will come to recognize and describe factors to help prevent child abuse and neglect and be able to identify and discuss multiple child abuse interventions for more positive behavior management outcomes. Participants will also learn the process for a sexual abuse assessment, along with interventions and strategies for treatment.
