Join us for February foster parent meeting! Foster Parent meetings are designed to be a time of training, connecting with other Focus on Youth foster parents, and sharing a meal together.
This course will explore key principles for fostering safe and nurturing environments for children. This session introduces the Seven Skills of Conscious Discipline and their relation to the Brain State Model, emphasizing the importance of safety for learning and connections. Through interactive activities and discussions, participants will also learn about Conscious Discipline Resources aimed at promoting healthy bonding and attachment.
