Pre-placement training is required for those who plan to become licensed foster/adoptive parents. Each session is held in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The sessions are designed to help you make an informed decision about whether fostering and/or adopting is right for you.

This course, part of the Preservice training series, discusses how to find and apply good child development information. It introduces the importance of providing positive childhood experiences and supporting nurturing relationships. Learners are made aware of the concept of normalcy and how to apply the reasonable and prudent parenting standard.

Location: **This class is a webinar that is attended remotely. Access to a telephone and a computer with access to the internet, webcam and microphone are required to participate in this class.**
