Pre-placement training is required for those who plan to become licensed foster/adoptive parents. Each session is held in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The sessions are designed to help you make an informed decision about whether fostering and/or adopting is right for you.

This course, part of the Preservice training series, explains the importance of permanency and reviews permanency
options for children in care, including reunification and adoption. Adoption supports, including subsidies, are discussed.
