Focus on Youth is committed to collaborating and serving our community by providing education that helps professionals learn research and evidence based practice. Participants will explore the principles of the TBRI approach, understand the impact of risk factors and adverse childhood experiences, and learn effective engagement strategies, including regulation techniques and fostering felt safety. 

TBRI® Caregiver Training 2025

Join us for this free for the community training opportunity! TBRI® is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI® uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. This four part series, hosted on Mondays in June, will be held at Berachah Baptist Church in Middletown on 6/2, 6/9, 6/16, and 6/23. You do not have to attend all four days, however, if you plan on attending Correcting Principles, you need to have attended at least one of the other sessions.
