In this 2-hour course, participants will explore the basics of sexual health, including common sexually transmitted infections (STIs), prevention methods, and access to care for children and teens in the child welfare system. Caregivers will learn how to recognize barriers that can prevent youth from receiving needed care and develop strategies to advocate for comprehensive, trauma-informed sexual health education and services.
