Children who have experienced trauma may face unique challenges with learning, behavior, relationships, and feeling safe at school. In this training, foster parents will learn how to advocate effectively for their child’s educational needs while building collaborative relationships with teachers, administrators, counselors, and other school staff. Participants will gain practical strategies for communicating concerns, navigating school supports, and working together to help their child feel safe, understood, and successful in the classroom.
