This workshop will help participants define the eight natural senses and how they affect functioning. Participants will be able to list strategies to distinguish various types of sensory processing disorders and explain how management of the environment may impact a child’s behavior with sensory processing issues. This workshop will teach participants how to effectively apply child focused hands-on activities that promote both stimulation and reduction of sensory input to increase a child’s and caregiver’s ability to address behaviors effectively.
